Left and Right Ventricular Infarction, Associated
Type 3 – Anteroseptal with RBBB
Selective leads:
Primary patterns: RV + LV areas; V4R-V4
Secondary patterns: D1, aVL, V5, V6
Recorded and interpreted by: Quintiliano H. de Mesquita, M.D.
ECG diagnostic criteria for myocardial infarction:
- Primary patterns: Q, QR or QS wave, positive and monophasic RS-T segment with T wave; convex(up) aspect segment RS-T(+) or isoelectric with diphasic(+- type) T wave or negative T wave with or w/out coronary aspect.
- Secondary patterns: R deflection with or w/out notches or in "M" shape; negative and monophasic RS-T segment with T wave; concave(up) aspect segment RS-T(-) or isoelectric with diphasic (-+ type) or positive T wave.
- Antagonistics, opposing or reciprocal leads: - Frontal plane: D1-aVL versus D3-aVF – Horizontal plane: right ventricular area (V4R, V5R, V6R, V1) versus left ventricular area (V1-V2-V6)
